AK Sportscars Ltd – otherwise known as  Neil (the new boss), Jon (the technical boss), Wendi (the office boss), are sports car manufacturers based in Peterborough Cambridgeshire.

The company has its roots in the mid-1980s when Ken and Alan set out to build high-quality kit cars. Ken, who is Jon’s father, took 18 months to create unique patterns and moulds, dissatisfied with the quality options available in the UK market then. As demand for their kit cars grew, the hobby turned into a full-time business and AK Sportscars was established. The company is now renowned for its iconic products – the AK 427, AKSS, and the AK40.
